Special Synthec FD 5W-20 is a special high-performance engine oil based on synthesis technology. It has been developed specifically for use in Ford EcoBoost engines. This special additive – technology ensures excellent lubrication safety. Through the combined effect of base oils and additives high fuel saving is achieved. Regarding the wear resistance requirements of the older standards are met and even exceeded in some areas. The special additive technology ensures high adhesive strength to the metal components present in the engine, so that even when engine is stopped, a protective layer is retained, which gives better protection against wear the engine at the next start than conventional motor oils. Ford recommends it to be used for motors where presently oils specifications WSS-M2C913-B, WSS-M2C913-C, or WSS-M2C925-B are prescribed.
